God Wants To Bless You
Gethsemene Lk 22:39-40, Jesus liked this area, and frequented it. He admonishes us to pray "not to enter temptation". That we would not fail when testing is instituted - like a time that was to come for Peter - so to prepare, the Lord had prayed for him, Lk 22:31-32 - as He does for us all in verse 46. We have blessings now because of Him, as is readily spoken of in Psalms, the principle of which are particularly spelled out in the first 3 Psalms. Psalm 1 - recounts the attributes of His blessing to the righteous (in Him). Psalm 2 - begins with the question, Why can't everyone see and accept His truth? Psalm 3 - is an encouragement to the heirs when adversarial battles come (spiritual warefare), and help us to overcome when we are tested.
