I'm Not Ashamed of My God
Lk 9:25-26 - ashamed - less than honorable Ps 134:1-2, The lifting of our hands in worship signifies that we honor God, and are not ashamed; let's DO the first commandment and Love the Lord thy God with all thy might. Have no shame when the Holy Spirit moves in the sanctuary. 1 John 2:28, Have confidence in Him. Abraham commanded his household to follow the Lord! Is our younger generation falling away because of shame? Heb 11:12-16 - The 'heros' declared their trust and confidence in God and His promises in spite of their circumstances. Ps 119:5-6, 46, 80, 116 Does shame prevent our testimony of His Gospel? Our challenge from the Pastor is to memorize Rom 1:16, and so exercise honor for the Gospel!
