The Dearest Psalm - 23

Messages

Excerpts from a book by Henry Ostrom by the same name. Wealth of the Word is beyound the text. Live in tune whith this Psalm, for the word have been deeded to us by our Lord Jesus. We are compared with the sheep not the lion, for unlike the lion or other animals, the sheep can not find it's way home. Fortunately, we have a true shepherd, who makes us lie down in green pastures. Feed in that pasture while waiting on Him, for He will lead us by the right way of peace and quietness (still waters). This allows us to face our enemy and say, "you shall not touch me, for He is between us!" We also can cry "I shall not want". In times of spiritual faintness He is they and restoreth our soles, (restoreth, being an on-going thing). Acknowledge Him in times of trouble by exclaiming "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death" .. He is there. The shadows (fears) can't hurt us! His staff keeps us from straying or falling! Believe that He has prepared a table for us; as everlasting habitations - where time has been conquered!! ("if this were not true I would not have told you".) Goodness and mercy are as our rear protection; like 2 rear sheep-herding-dogs.
