The Voice of Our Tears

Sunday Sermons

Psalm 6:1-10 2 Sam 12:1-12, After God confronted David, through Nathan the Prophet, David underwent true remorse and repentance desiring His great mercy. David reasoned with God (vrs 5), saying he could not praise Him from the grave; David felt sincere sorrow and tears get God's attention, (tears are as a voice of prayer); True brokeness has great value to God. David became confident God had received his prayer (vrs 8&9), Heb 4:14-16 "..let us come boldly..."; In David's sin of the census, (2 Sam 24), David's great brokeness and repentence moved God to stay the angel's hand over Jerusalem (vrs 14-17).
